Worlds of Entnglement at IFICC - Chile

Conference information

We would like to invite you to the conference "Worlds of Entanglement at IFICC - Chile", to be held at the institute of Philosophy and Complexity Sciences (IFICC) in Santiago de Chile on 7-8 March 2019.
Register here

The event is the continuation of previous events such as Worlds of Entanglement (Brussels 2017), Times of Entanglement (Shanghai 2010) and Einstein Meets Magritte (1995), where some of the world’s most renowned thinkers, such as Zygmunt Bauman, Ilya Prigogine, Francisco Varela, Massimo Marinacci, Alexander Wendt, among others, meet to develop an interdisciplinary dialogue about fundamental issues of science and society.

You can find the lectures of Worlds of Entanglement 2017 here. In this occasion, we will focus on foundational aspects of quantum theory and how they offer new perspectives in not only scientific but also philosophical, ethical, and social issues.

We invite interested colleagues to submit an abstract to be considered for a talk and subsequent publication of an article in a special issue in the A1 Springer journal Foundations of Science (see the specifics of the call for abstracts below).
